Restaurant Thorvald

Located on the harbourfront in Vedbæk, Restaurant Thorvald occupies one of a row of listed buildings originally constructed in 2001 using distinctive black fibre cement panels.

The building has undergone a careful renovation in collaboration with conservation architect Kent Pedersen. With minimal yet decisive interventions, the project preserves the building’s characteristic silhouette while updating the interior layout to meet contemporary needs. The place draws inspiration from the relaxed atmosphere of the southern French coast, offering an informal and inviting setting by the sea.
